The annual sessions of the Grand Encampment, Department Council and Ladies Auxiliary Patriarchs Militant is set for June 19 through June 21, 2008, in Mineral Wells.  Check back for more information.

A Little Odd Fellowship History

Did you know that the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs is the only fraternal group allowed to lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery?  Yes, it was by an act of Congress when former President Franklin D. Roosevelt, an Odd Fellow, requested a law be set in place so that the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs would be able to hold this historic event. 

The event annual event held on the first Sunday in May, which this year was May 4, 2008, and marked the 75th anniversary of the wreath laying ceremony.
