Proctor, WV - Vice President of the Rebekah Assembly of West Virginia, Mary Ellen Stillwagoner, wife of the Grand Warden, Robert Stillwagoner, is recuperating at home following a sudden illness which placed her in the hospital. Our thoughts and prayers are with her as she recovers from chest pains she had about a week ago.
The Grand Lodge and Rebekah Assembly Convention Committee has announced the 2008 Annual Sessions of the Grand Lodge and Rebekah Assembly to be held October 8-11, 2008, at Days Hotel in Flatwoods.
Reservations can now be made within the "Odd Fellows and Rebekahs" block at the hotel.

The annual Patriarchs Militant Training Camp will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2008, at Cedar Lakes, outside Ripley. The one-day camp will help people have been mustered into a Canton or an Auxiliary, or maybe to strengthen your skills and knowledge of the different aspects of the Patriarchs Militant.

The reception for Lady Lorraine Beno, president of LAPM; Colonel David Schoolcraft, department commander of the Department Council; and Dale Metz, grand patriarch of the Grand Encampment will hold their joint reception on August 10, 2008, at the Parkersburg IOOF Lodge Hall in Parkersburg, starting at 2:00 p.m.
"Everyone is invited and we hope to see you there," stated Dale Metz, "we always look forward to seeing our life-long friends and new comers to the Order at the receptions."
