District 4 Joint Installation

 

Article:   Two Lodges of The Rebekah Assembly  District Four  recently held a joint installation of officers  They are  Harmony 51  and Golden Glow Rebekah Lodges  and they were installed by the District Deputy President,  Pamela Haymond of  Golden Rod 87,   Farmington.    Each year the lodges holds an election of officers  and then the District Deputy President and staff installs them for the current year.
    In Harmony 51 of Morgantown,  Sister Eleanor Pride,  Past President of the Rebekah Assembly,  returned to the office of Noble Grand after many, many years out of the office.   Sister Patty Fisher was Noble Grand and she took the office of Secretary which Sister Eleanor Pride had served for many years.
    Golden Glow  299,  installed the following Officers:   Aldene Davidson,  Past District Deputy President,  was installed as Noble Grand,  Shirley Jones was installed as Vice Grand, Ralph Davis, Jr.  as Color Bearer,  Fay Davis as Right Support to the Noble Grand,   Jeanette Robey as Chaplain,   Janet Kern,  right support to Vice Grand,   Barbara Wagner as Left Support to Vice Grand,   Pamela Davidson as Warden, Glendora Headley as Secretary,  and Lillian Wagner as Inside Guardian,  and Rev. Sherman G. Davidson, Past Noble Grand as the Musician.
    Harmony 51 meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.     Golden Glow meets on Fridays  7:00 p.m.    Rebekah Members are welcome to attend.   Golden Glow will have a visit of the Past Grand Master of Illinois on August 1,  at 7:00 p.m.   We will have a covered dish at 6:00 p.m. If other lodges would be coming to visit,   please let Glendora Headley know  at  304-449-1712.
